Johannes Kepler University

Johannes Kepler University (JKU) views itself as a centre of competence for solving complex societal, economic, technical and legal problems. This includes all members involved in teaching, research and services.

JKU disposes of a very specific and unique potential concerning the multidisciplinary variety and interdisciplinary co-operation of its three faculties: social sciences and economics, law, natural sciences and engineering. JKU is the only Austrian university combining these areas and being a campus type university. Despite large student numbers (in several study fields) this situation allows for a relative closeness of teachers and students.
